Karine Hains: Suzuki's Summer Nick Suzuki has been everywhere in Montreal this summer, could this be a sign of things to come?

I'm also in the Edmundson camp.
who knows? maybe the next captain is Guhle and not Suzuki.
but really, not that important who wears the C.

I'm pretty spoiled because I've read a ton of fantasy and played 2 and 3 of the Witcher (can't get me to spend time trying to get through the Glitcher 1) before trying to read the books. It's just not that good. I'd recommend about 13 series off the top of my head before it.

so either they would be without a captain for quite some time, or they would name Guhle wayyyyy too early imho... captaincy might not be that important on a team full of veterans, but for a team on a rebuild it probably becomes more significant, so I wouldn't spend too much time without one.

I wouldn't mind seeing Edmundson as some sort of interim between either Suzuki or Guhle though.

to me its the only Path, Edmunston for 2 years, then see if Suz is ready

only plan B I could see is Gally all the way

I would be surprised if it is not Gallagher, tbh.

Just a feeling, not necessarily my pick (cause I really do not care).

I think Suzuki is mature enough to handle it right away, but surely the coaching staff and management have a better idea if that's the case or not, so I'm confident if they do name him now it's because he's ready. I'm fine with basically any choice between Gallagher, Edmundson or Suzuki, as long as the team is on board with the decision.

Also Pat can sympathize, but Suzuki was likely too short to get on the ride home. So he had to stay in MTL all summer.

It is like La Ronde all over again.

I bought a #14 Suzuki red jersey before their Stanley Cup Finals run. I’d love to see him as captain. But only if he’s ready.

btw, I gave Belvedere a listen, pretty damn good musically speaking. the main vocal isn't my favorite but that isn't necessarily a bad thing, sometimes it takes a few listens to grow on you. in a way it kind of reminds me of Protest the Hero but more focused on punk rock, if they keep things tight during shows they must give a really good performance live.

The music is crazy and you can tell they draw from a lot of musical influences. The singing is a bit soft, but I found it a nice change from Rancid and other singing types like that! They’re tighter than the Velcro on DT’s wallet!!!

Also, anything music, feel free to ask. Whether it’s guitar, guitar playing, bands, whatever. I’m a total music nerd as you can probably tell! Lol
