Here is your list of questions:

1. Will the Winnipeg Jets make the playoffs in 2022-23? Yes

2. Is Rick Bowness going to be a positive, or negative asset to the organization? Positive

3. Does Pierre-Luc Dubois remain a Jet until at least the off-season? Yes

4. Can Kyle Connor repeat, or even improve on his success from last season? Yes, Improve. 50!

5. Do we see a core change in the leadership group of the players? (Scheifele, Wheeler, Morrissey) No.

6. What player takes the biggest jump in production this year? Perfetti, Ehlers

7. What player takes the biggest step back this year? Schmidt

8. Will Connor Hellebuyck and Dave Rittich combine for a Save Percentage greater than 0.913? Yes

9. Rank these defenseman by games player, most to least. (Stanley, Heinola, Samberg, Chisholm, Kovacevic, Gawanke). I like them how you listed them. (Stanley, Heinola, Samberg, Chisholm, Kovacevic, Gawanke). Well... I don't like them. Wish Stanley was not #1.

10. Will the Jets choose a direction, and be buyers, or sellers at the Trade Deadline, or continue to stay in the middle road? They will use the cap savings they currently have to buy at the deadline.

11. Who, if any, are the first Jets defenseman to get moved? None.

12. What rookie play 10 or more games this season? Perfetti, Samberg. I don't think Heinola, Barron are rookies any more.

13. Who finishes the season with the most points on the Jets? Schiefele

14. Rank these players by trade value. (Hellebuyck, Connor, Ehlers, Scheifele, Dubois, Morrissey) Dubois, Scheifele, Hellboy, Connor, Ehlers Morrissey

18. How can the management group win your trust back? Make playoffs

19. Where does Kevin Cheveldayoff rank among you GM rankings? Just like Jets, middle of the pack

20. What could be your 1 saving grace for hope in this season>. That the excitement I felt when Schmidt, Dillon were traded for is finally fulfilled with a great Jets team. Pionk ups his game back to beating McDavid in the playoff levels.

21. What is your prediction for the team's record after the full season? 46-30-6

22. Who wins the "Jets Awards" for this year? (Hart, Art Ross, Vezina etc,)
Hellboy - Hart, Art Ross - Schief, Vez - Hellboy, Calder - Perfetti, Norris - Pionk.

23. Despite the lack of team direction, is that deterring you from buying tickets? No. I will go 25+ times because I support the Jets, I support my team, and I love hockey.

1. Might be my heart talking but I say "Yes"
2. Positive in that the players and fans now have no excuses. Plus change is usually good for a team.
3. Yes
4. KC is fairly consistent so I say "repeat", but it would be nice if he hit 50
5. Only if the team is out of a playoff spot by US Thanksgiving
6. Cole Perfetti with Hellebuyck having a good bounce back to form as well
7. Since no one other than Connor excelled last year he would be the only one that could really fall back but won't
8. Yes but only if Big Save Dave comes to play
9. Samberg, Stanley, Gawanke, Chisholm, Kovacevic, Heinola as he gets traded…please…See 11 below
10. I say Buyers as they will be in a playoff push
11. Heinola
12. Chisholm (unless Lucius plays 9 games)
13. Scheifele on a bounce back season
14. Connor, Schiefele, Morrisey, Dubois, Hellebuyck (If Toronto or Edmonton's shooter-tooters are swiss cheese Bucky's value and any other goalie of value increase exponentially)
15. Mick E Moose (if Gretzky can be traded so can KC)
16. Schmidt as 3 more years at almost $6M is a bit much for what he brings
17. No as that is trading things of value for magic beans
18. News flash, I haven't lost confidence in the management, but I am losing confidence in the Players
19. Average. There are 31 other GM's whose team did not win the Cup last year either. Are they all incompetent too..
20. Scheifele extracts his cranium from his rectum and remembers how he played before he took out Evans (which he was inappropriately vilified for and I think it got into his head)
21. 99 points - 4 in Central - Lose 2nd round of Playoffs
22. Hart - Connor, Art Ross - Scheifele, Vezina - Bucky, Norris - Morrisey
23. See 18 above and unlike others I did not break my ankles jumping off the bandwagon and will proudly be in section 325 using my half season pack

23) Bowness hockey is really boring, won't be surprised if there's a consistent 1500-2000 empty seats and the boo birds singing loudly. Its one thing to be a directionless, middling team but to be an unentertaining one too just isn't going to win fans back.

This is not a reply to the questions posed however my biggest concern for the organization is that the Jets are a very boring team to watch. I hate to admit this, but there is little for me to say to promote this team to others.

If you are going to be one of the small market teams, I think you better have something to cause a draw of interest or excitement. The team is feels as if it is currently in an "also played" type status league wide and needs promotion like that of Saskatchewan Roughriders or Buffalo Bills. Even the California Golden Seals a lousy team would still make the news with "Crazy George" attending their games to inject life. I think the fans in Winnipeg wouldn't settle for silliness but they will show life when there is cause.

I believe the Jets line up over the past few years too often shows little spark in their play and when they do, it lasts for such a short period of time. I cannot recall the Jets dominating anyone in a game over the past few years, but I do recall the reverse on several occasions.

I don't see a player in their line up who stirs things up. I preferred when the Jets were maybe not as skillful but had size and used it. I miss a Laurie Boschman or Mike Eagles (Jets 1.0) type of players who hit anything they came across. I don't see the obvious leader on the team and I believe even the players are uncertain who it would be which is not good. Schiefele is the face of the Jets around the league, but he needs to show drive much more consistently.

The games at home have lost their appeal in part, due to the team play as there are too many long periods of time where the fans have nothing to cheer about. Having Hextall call the TV games just doesn't work. I assume we are not allowed to say this, but it's true, she is just not a top talent when it comes to calling a professional game and I refuse to listen to her. The Jets can ill afford to be "woke" in this regard as her soft, uninspiring voice only adds to the boredom. She makes the game feel like it's an intramural university league game played while classes are ongoing. I like her, but not in this role.

I believe the Jets need to inject some life in their organization and quit sitting in the background. Hell, they make the national sports pages fewer than any other team in Canada. The home games need to be an event regardless of how well the team is playing. It's not easy as Winnipeg is a conservative city and the crowd may need a push to get them going, but if there is no level of passion or excitement on display there is no need to watch and the Jets cannot allow this to happen.

Years ago I went to a game in Germany, The crowd sang songs, had a small band and made the arena a place to be. Same as European soccer games or even Montreal Impact or TFC games, the fans are driven and have to be just as exhausted as the players after a game from cheering. As an attendee you feel you are part of something at these games. I'm not saying it's easy, but I think there is a real need for an injection of excitement, interest and passion in the Jets as an organization.

Finally I recall Dallas making a joke about things to do in Winnipeg. After going to the zoo was listed as number one, the remaining nine things were blank. Someone in Winnipeg did the same about Dallas with the number one thing to do in Dallas was to "collect two points! That's one kind of witty, fun behaviour that adds some spark to the organization. Hire that person.

Boring defensive hockey doesn't automatically mean winning hockey.

On paper the Jets and Dallas are similar level talent wise, they haven't gotten very far, their run to the final in the shortened season means little to me considering they were on a brutal slide before the stoppage and might of missed the playoffs or at least dropped to 4th in the division had the season not been stopped.

I just don't think the Jets are built to play hyper defensive hockey, they'll win a lot more games 6-4 then they
will 2-1.

Heinola and Samberg step up, Perfetti continues to be Perfetti.

21. What is your prediction for the team's record after the full season? 37-34-11

22. Who wins the "Jets Awards" for this year? (Hart, Art Ross, Vezina etc,)
Hart: 37
Art Ross: 27
Norris: 44
Vezina: 37
Calder: 91
Rocket: 81

23. Despite the lack of team direction, is that deterring you from buying tickets?
Yes. The last few games I’ve attended were eerily quiet. The prices and arena experience just aren’t enough to get around that. The on ice product is lacking, and it drains everything

This is a good article and I enjoyed reading some of the comments. Sadly I haven’t been on as much lately as I have never been less motivated or excited for a jets season to begin.

Hope this team Somehow shocks the world and me but I just see the same middle of the pack team
That’s been on repeat for 4 years now.

Was hoping for so much more change this summer but looks like il have to wait a year.

I am still of the belief that a trade is coming.
We obviously have too many defencemen and as d-men are a valuable commodity, we might be able to get a good return.
