Parents bought a stay at a 5 star hotel there in a charity auction. They thought it was only for 2 people, but it was 2 couples. We got the invitation as long as we paid for our flights and treated them to some of the meals.

1st practice for my daughter’s team today.

I’ve been grumpy the whole week - pissed at the time commitment, pissed that it will eat up my weekends, etc.

And to top it off, she’s got a minor cold, so she skipped practice today.

Got there, and loved it.

Loved shooting the poop with the parents I know, meeting the new ones.

Loved being on skates for the first time since April.

Loved working with the kids, laying the groundwork for the season.
