I could see NYRs 1st pick being used at deadline, with Dallas pick likely to be higher..we hope lol.
Nyr probably have a 20-32 pick and Dallas pick hopefully be 11-15?

Very impressed with the returns Drury has gotten in multiple trades when he seems to have no leverage. Lundkvist staying in Europe and not reporting, and we get a better pick than we used to select him.
Drury got 2 mid round picks for Georgie when we weren't even going to qualify him and he would have been a UFA in a few weeks

Nice work

As much as I would have liked to see Nils succeed here, it just wasn't going to happen with the Rangers . Now we got rid of a potential distraction.

Drury doing a nice job of turning lemons into lemonade!

I’d love for Dallas to suck this year bad enough where the puck gets switched to 2024.

But they were pretty good team last year. Likely playoff team again, and if it’s clear they are a contender by the deadline I think this pick is used as deadline chip.

I love this position the Rangers are in though with having two first round picks and also being a contender.

Drury turned a "negative" into a "positive".

Great job by our GM.

He's the early favorite for 2022/2023 GM of the Year!

2023 is a solid draft class. Nice having 2 picks in the first round. I am 99.9% sure one gets moved at the trade deadline

79 million in career earnings, I am sure he isn't heartbroken about retiring.

He was working last year during the playoffs as an in studio analyst for espn. Wouldn’t surprise me it made his decision a little easier knowing he already had work ready to keep him busy.

The pick for Nils was the right one at the time. Rangers were weak at the right side. Situation changed, and really unless there were injuries, I couldn't see him getting in the lineup. Can't blame him for requesting a trade, I do believe he is an NHL player. Good job Drury.
