I think the logical selection on the poll is Schneider. However, my real selection is none. I do not want to see any of the those guys. If any of them show up that means the season went to sh!t

Coyotes forward Andrew Ladd did not pass his physical & will go on LTIR. His thrice surgically repaired knee is still an issue.
Per terms of the trade that brought him to AZ last summer, the Coyotes will get the conditional 2023 3rd-round pick they acquired from the Islanders.

One thing about Uncle Lou you have to admire-he is loyal to his players.

Not the body of the article but a note for those who doubted it;
Defenseman Bode Wilde, who was exiled to Sweden last year after refusing to get vaccinated for COVID-19, will not attend training camp, per the team. The Islanders are figuring out an assignment for Wilde this season.

In a few years Bode Wilde will be suing the NHL, the Islanders, and Lou for this nonsense. .. and he will win.

"Honest question. Should we be excited that a 1st rd pick might make it as a bottom 6 forward? Is that the goal of 1st rd picks? I'm not saying he can't make it as a top 6 just feels like we should be expecting more out of our 1st rd picks, No?"

from yesterday's comment section..

In a perfect world of course you want every first round pick to be a top 6 player. that said when the 23rd pick in the draft looks like he is progressing into a player that should definitely be a solid 2 way NHL caliber player it's certainly not a bad thing.

Look who was drafted around him and before him ... There wasn't a lot of sure fire studs.. so they took the young kid with a ton of upside.
It certainly looks like it might be a good pick.

Not only that they took Bolduc in second round and he looks like a solid pick too.

I just do not get this at all. It's not even about whether Bode is a good prospect or not or if has a shot to make the team. It's not the right thing to do.

I had no idea that if you hit the AA button (show reader) on the top right of the paywall articles you can read them without any problems. Now I'll never have to pay for Isles content again
