Beautiful article, you hit it all in a nutshell. Unfortunately, I don't see the Panthers winning three straight. It's been a frustrating season, but like I said when the Panthers beat Tampa Bay, that was my Stanley Cup. |

We should move to Orland because we were and still are a Mickey Mouse organization through and through |

Matt,
You said it!
First, stop the stupid.
Second, score first, then score often.
I am so sick of the tired, unimaginative, highly-predictable yet completely inept, power play. How can it be harder to get the puck into the ozone and harder to score and harder to prevent an opponent scoring opportunity when you have an extra guy? Why, after 86 games, does it basically still look like the failed version we saw last year and to open the season? I don't have any official stats, but by my eye test, Boston is out-shooting us on our power plays. If not, it has to be close.
Some stupid may be hard to stop, as it seems designed into the processes.
I really don't want to see Boston win the series in Florida. So, either lose tonight or take it to game 7. |

its like Smith came out and Lomberg decided he needed to take over the stupid....
I dont expect the series by a long shot now although I did originally think we had a shot. But I would like at least one more win to make it a series. Isles won last night I was hoping they would lose so we wouldnt be the 1st ones eliminated. No-Go
Get some god damn goals boys. Watch the Tampa series and realize that yes you can. Vasi is so human after all if he can be beaten so can Ullmark |

A more intelligent coach manages the Bruins. Speed and puck possessions are what they're all about. That is the reason we take so many penalties. Forsling will take a slashing penalty trying to stop a breakaway, and Montour will get a tripping call trying to stop the guy cycling the puck behind our net or Gudas will take a cross-checking penalty trying to move their defensemen standing in front of the net. We have constant defensive zone breakdowns. A good coach corrects this kind of play, a bad coach lets it continue. The common denominator is that our defensemen are not getting to the puck first in our defensive zone. The opposition gets to the puck first and cycles it in our defensive zone. All the while the Panthers chase after them taking what you call stupid penalties. |

Unfortunately for the Panthers, Kate Smith is getting ready to sing. |

That was the script flipped last night. Usually it’s FL that has “control” of the game and are carrying most of the play....only to let the opponent hang around and steal it at the end.
I’ll take it!

Never would’ve called that the road team would win 4 of the first 5 games in the series. Beating Boston twice at the Garden
Now gotta find a way to win a game on home ice |

And now for something completely different, let's win one at home.

amazing. we had less than zero chance of winning that game. The defense and really the forwards too all game were atrocious at getting the puck out of the zone and still with the freakin penalties! How many more years of pylon Ekblad? |

Ekblad was very noticeable last night, he was struggling mightily
Good thing BoB was very ready to play. |

Unbelievable, guys. I had a pit in my stomach pretty much all game. Did not think they were maki by it out — especially with all the penalties they were taking…
Can breath a little bit today but right back to the nerves before we know it! |

When your goalie is basically the 1st AND 2nd star of the game, you have more than a good chance to win.
Kudos to Bob. He looks tired though, maybe rest him for game 7.
