I doubt they do anything ... it was a bushleague play ... in a game that was entirely in the Avs control, and this one probably wasn't any reason to expect anything different.
It isn't old school anything ... no, that's like when you get called for 'slashing' when you tap someone's gloves or stick. Or accidentally complete a pass to your own side of the redline. |

In Kane's rookie season (07-08), the roster included Toews, Sharp, Keith, Seabrook, Byfuglien, Robert Lang, Havlat, Rene Bourgue, Martin Lapointe...so what Bedard is pulling off with virtually nothing around him is all the more impressive. If he had similar talent to Kane's rookie roster, who knows what numbers he would be putting up. |

Bedard called it a "love tap" in an interview. |

A Love tap Bedard himself called it, and don't forget the kid used his stick nicely throughout the game and just before Manson's love tap is the reason Manson let him know he didn't like it. Don't dish it out if you can't handle it being returned. |

Bedard isn’t getting anywhere close to the initiation Crosby went through. Crosby took an absolute poop kicking in his first few years. He’ll be fine. What I like is he’ll give it back himself. |

Would you recommend Bedard take boxing lessons in the offseason or train in MMA? RF |

The only people female doging about it are outside of the team (reporters and fans). Bedard, his teammates, and the coaches all have said "no issues". It's just drummed up bullpoop for people to complain about. |

A friend of mine (Leafs fan) actually just asked me if I would trade Seth Jones for Tavares straight up. No, he hadn't started drinking yet.
I told him that deal would be done before I even picked up the phone. |

What surprises me isn’t the deal, it’s the fact you have, or claim to have, a friend. 😇 |

Lindy Ruff out in NJ, shocker, I'm sure Steve FG would love this guy coaching the Blackhawks |

Which early game (6 pm Central) to watch? FLA at NYR, or BOS at TOR?
Stanley Cup playoff caliber games in March. |

Florida at New York has the potential for some fireworks. |

Yep. Florida must lead the league in scrums after the whistle and the Rangers have that Rempe kid.

Scott Wheeler of the Athletic ranked the top 75 drafted prospects. The likes of Bedard and Korchinski don’t qualify for the list (not that #55 would make it anyway).
Moore is the Hawks top prospect at #27 and Nazar comes in at #35. Both are considers Tier 4 but I’m not sure what that means.
Del Mastro is the only other Hawk prospect listed and he’s considered as an “honorable mention”. |

They’re all going to be busts. Even honourable mention busts. |

Hey DK, not to steal your thunder but Rinzel (#64) and Reichel (#65) were both on it. |

Clearly.
All of KD’s draft picks clearly aren’t well received by the rest of the league. |

I’d recommend Brazilian Ju Jitsu. If it’s good enough for Al Bundy it’s good enough for Bedard. |

To be fair he had Alexis as the number 1 prospect in 2020

Excellent point. Should've figured there was a method to his madness. |
