that's actually not bad in terms of value, but a pointless trade for Ottawa.

corrado would for sure be behind englund, claessen, and Chabot (not to mention the guys in the NHL) and probably be behind ben harpur too.

I'd say the chances of him getting any NHL games with Ottawa would be pretty slim, and given that, what would be the point.

but like I said, in terms of value that's probably right

in lazar's defence (and it's not the greatest defence)......he played those 15 games after being off for nearly 2 months with mono. it's tough getting back to a normal person's routine after that, let alone professional hockey.

it also doesn't help that bingo is a very low scoring team while the marlies are a very high scoring team.

in lazar's defence (and it's not the greatest defence)......he played those 15 games after being off for nearly 2 months with mono. it's tough getting back to a normal person's routine after that, let alone professional hockey.

it also doesn't help that bingo is a very low scoring team while the marlies are a very high scoring team.

I suppose......seems like a hugely wasted asset, especially considering some of the plugs on your blueline right now (hunwick, polka, etc)

Hunwick and Polak may get something like a 2nd round pick at the Trade deadline. Lots of teams looking for veteran guys that aren't horrible defensively, and can add a bit of toughness.

that's the kind of thing a lot of teams could use. Even a team like Ottawa, to push guys like Boroweicki, or Phaneuf, or Ceci down the lineup to a more appropriate spot.

Yeah, most Sens fans knew that, and it was just one more reason to question why they called him back up, I think it was for an injured player ............... but easily could have called up someone else, on a two way.
