Why? Whether it drives you nuts or not, I'm not trolling, I don't think hodgson will ever be what you guys thought he would. I just don't think he's that good.

He has a ceiling of a point per game and he has great leadership qualitys.

I don't think thats an unfair statement and I'm sure most Canuck fans agree with that assessment.

He is also going to be way better then kadri

Sure he does.

You realize this is now a lose-lose argument for you?

Since the WJC, Jensen and the Generals have not done as well.

Schroeder has improved his game for the second half of the season. He's really been working hard on the parts of his game that should help keep a smaller player in the NHL.

Rodin has had a solid second half so far as well. He's been getting credit for his play at both ends of the rink. Now that the adjustment period of going pro in N.A. is over, I expect him to have a great season next year.

Lack probably is ready for the back up role in Vancouver next year. Lets hope for a long playoff run for him.

7 games. No points. -1. Safe to say he stands no shot at the Calder. Playing his way down the Buffalo depth chart.

Who saw this coming?

You also claimed that the leafs were making the playoffs....

Cody has a lot of hockey left to develop and would be a #1 center on the laughs.

That would be the only way he makes the team. What is it now, 8 games no points?

I think they can thank miller for the wins..

He gives them a chance to win every single night and has been on a good run.

Cody is really young. It's really common for players to take some time to adjust......it took Kessel two years.

Anyone keeping track of our prospects playoff success and failures?

Nick Jensen 1a in 3 games.

Alexander Grenier 3a in 1 game.

Mcnally and Harvard were one win short of the league championship. I don't know what his playoff stats were tho.

Grenier had a goal within the first minute of game 2. It was nice, he went to the net hard off of the faceoff. I dunno if he has the vision to be a high-end player, but he's big enough to hold his own on the 3rd line and chip in a goal every now and then.

He has decent size so it could be a nice fit down the road.

Nick Jensen has a 3A night as the Gens tie up the series against the Ice Dogs 2-2.

Speaking of the ice dogs,,,the Canucks have another offensive prospect in this series. Alex Friesen had a hat trick and a assist in game one, two assists in game 2, 1 assist in game 3 and another assist in game 4.

8 points in 4 games for Alex Friesen. He's hot...

Nick Jensen had a goal and Alex Friesen had two assists as they faced off again last night. Niagra pulled ahead of Oshawa 3-2 in the series.

Jensen is now playing for survival.

I don't think we've had anyone good enough in junior that could make the jump in awhile. I'm entirely unsure on this one.

I'd imagine there would be a couple of players that would get the call to play before Jensen. Schroeder for sure for an offensive player... Sweatt maybe...Rodin is only just adjusting to pro in NA so probably no for him.

When the Wolves are out Jensen will probably join the Canucks for a taste of being with the team. They will stretch out his exposure til the end.

No that wasn't the case for either player.

What you're probably thinking of is when Grabner was recalled from the Moose while the Canucks were in the post-season. He had played earlier that year during the regular season though.

I'm not saying that he would play but I'm not sure if he can even be legally recalled to the Canucks.
