(frank)in totally forgot it was Jennifer Jason Leigh in Hudsucker Proxy. Honestly i love that movie and was probably my first Coen Bros flick to be seriously into, even tho i usually despise tim robbins. She was my fav part of Hateful 8 too

The Godfather?!?

no I think it's a great movie, even read the book.

Godfather II was also excellent

I've seen III a coupe of times but barely have any recollection of it.

watched KRAMPUS (which sucked) and SICARIO (which seemed good but i was doing nitrous balloons throughout most of it)

anyway, I watched them on a huge tv, that I assume had a really high frame rate. and holy poop was it a terrible experience. Everything looked like cheap video or like a soap opera. No cinematic feel whatsoever. If this becomes the standard I will throw a (frank)ing tantrum

This is video processing that you can turn off. It's often called "smooth motion" or something

What you need in a TV is not that option, but rather the TV to have a high native refresh rate like 120hz or 240hz or higher for LCDs (be careful though, companies often advertise a true 120hz as a 240hz one because they claim their motion smoothing option doubles the refresh rate).

And of course, if you can, try a tv with a 24fps option (for movies, wich are shot at that framerate). TVs who don't have such an option will process 24fps into 30fps with varying results, some good some not so good. That process is called 3:2 pulldown

Do some research before buying your next model and you should be good to go.
