I watched that Wes Anderson Indian train movie. Cant spell it and I refuse to google it. Damn it I'm liking his movies now. He's creeping into my fav list and I don't get how I missed the point with so many of his movies before.

quick aunt syl story

mentioned to her last week that i had recently rewatched tenenbaums and she said working that was like therapy for everyone involved cause it was just after 9/11

there is one scene where Royal is fondling a little beanbag ashtray on the roof with richie and they realized they didnt have a sound for that in the computers - and being that it was really the first time Wes had a boatload of money for a budget, during the mix he just said "(frank) it - let's get it" so she ran down to the dolby studio and found some kind of beanbag and they mic'd it up and recorded it

dan clowes is amazing
i don't read many graphic novels but his ghostworld and like a velvet glove cast in iron are so great, as are his eightball comics
