I'll have to watch it by myself. Probably better that way anyway.

I'm a big fan of Jeff Nichols but Loving bored me to tears. I haven't seen enough 2016 movies yet to make my own list though.

I finished Amadeus last night. It was pretty close to flawless overall. There was maybe a 10-15 minute stretch when Mozart was first getting into drinking that sort of went nowhere but the music still kept it interesting. What a perfect end too. He gets to witness Mozart's genius in person while working him to death, all without actually getting his Requiem finished so he couldn't even steal the credit for it in the end anyway.

"He destroyed his own beloved, rather than let a mediocrity share in the smallest part of his glory"

Then he spends the last 30 years of his life watching Mozart's music remain popular while his own music becomes forgotten.
