Batman 89 is one of the worst Batman movies every made

It is really bad at the Batman part of it

- Lindenis#1

Yeah. I think it's Iconic, but I also think Batman Returns was better.

He's terrible at being Batman. Its also a terrible Joker

Returns is much better than 89. And even when it comes to Batman not killing people, saving people and being Batman, you gotta give it to the ones with Two Face and Arny.

(frank) batman and robin.

Jim Carrey's Riddler was (frank)ing annoying too, but it felt like you were watching a comic book.

without my nostalgia goggles i'd probably say batman begins is the best one. the dark knight didn't really do it for me from a story standpoint. well shot and tom waits was good but mehhhhhh.

now that i think of it i don't believe i've seen the dark knight rises.

(frank)ing Apples tried to (frank)ing explain to me one time that Bane was the guy who broke Batman's back and thats why he's a good villain for Rises, despite it not being Bane despite the name, and I was like "Omg no way i didn't know that wow please tell me more about comic books"

Begins is easily the best even if they kind of wasted the Scarecrow.

I don't know anything about the comics so I just judge the movies based on what's in the movies. I couldn't care less if they go against what's in the comics. I do understand why fans of the comics would lean towards the films that are most like the comics though.

As a standalone movie Begins just has the most interesting cast of baddies while also making Bruce seem human and likable even if the "ooo I'm scared of bats" bit was kind of unintentionally funny.

bane is a mexican wreslter who becomes a gang lord who takes super steroids to become huge and strong

nolan turned him into a british guy who just wants anarchy and chaos and is also the new Ras Al Ghul or something convoluted. because i guess he wanted Bane for that and not the character Anarky which is way closer.

Anne Hathaway is hot AF in the Catwoman outfit

she's at her hottest in interstellar. she's crying in most of her scenes so i guess i'm pretty messed up.

why not just make up a whole new character if you're going to change an existing one that much? you'd be pissing off fans either way but at least you'd have even more room for creativity

it guess he wanted to get back to league of shadows for full circle stuff

but someone like Riddler/Anarky/Talia would have made a better combo for that then Bane

But then batman doesn't have anyone to punch in the face. so basically Nolan fell into the hole that Superman writers fall into with metallo. "most of his villains can't be punched in the face but we need face punching or its boring so just (frank)ing bring Metallo in for no reason so a face can be punched"

Could have the Riddler try to break his mind and have Batman lose his poop and kill him, but that's probably not gonna sell many toys.
