The new Spider Man blows.

If you want good comic reading, check out Spider Man 2099. Also avoid Superior Carnage like the plague. Awful comic book.

I just can't even with it.

I quite enjoyed the first one. It was perfectly acceptable, unoffensive and enjoyable.

That second (frank)ing film has a special place in comics hell.

I also hate what it has turned into/signifies.

Like I despise this Spiderman movie universe. Talk about totally un(frank)ing necessary and I have seen no proof that Sony has the competency to do a successful job of it like Marvel or Fox

The "Spiderman" movie universe is Sony's big plan to stretch Spiderman into its own Avengers. It consists of standalone Carnage, Venom, Spiderwoman and Sinister Six movies along with some regular Spidey movies in there too.

And its a plan that is really stretching for material. Like you've feasibly got 8 tops, because once Spiderman fights symbiotes then he can't go back to drugged up Harry Osborn or Rhinobot, especially because he punked Rhino at the end of ASM2 no problem.

And while he has a buttload of quality villains, by jumping into the Sinister 6 asap you really burn through the quality well quickly.

Like had they done ASM2 and establish the Sinister Six as a thing to come, fine. Then you move onto Venom, then onto Carnage, then you get into Sinister 6 before a Spidey-Venom-Carnage orgasm. But to make SS the next one. No.

Like had they decided to establish villains and then have the villain team-up where you only introduce one or two new guys then fine. Slow burn. It does such a disservice to the villains, who are all terrifc. They're all going to be regular chodes given arms and wings and poop.

Also, I have no faith in Sony's ability to do Spiderwoman well and feel that they're going to (frank) up Black Cat, one of my favourite female "heros", no matter who's tits they mash together in leather.

Just establish things properly and slowly. Its the same dumb (frank)ing mistake Warner is making with DC. "poop, lets catch up as fast as possible and sacrifice all quality assurance to do so"

It almost sucks that the Avengers being so (frank)ing amazing has ruined everyone else but Fox in the super hero game.
