what kinda odds could I get for a 'Marner puck over the glass and Willie hatty' combo?

Better odds on 16 with the center ice drop pass to no one leading to the odd man rush on the PP...

"Zach Hyman and the Toronto Maple Leafs each have six goals through their first three games of these playoffs"
- Fakepartofme

What a click bait headline that is!!!

Let’s not pretend LA and Boston are anything close to the same teams or have anywhere near the same level of goaltending.

Cam Talbot is no Swayman or Ulmark he’s nowhere close to them.

Must be nice to draw a team to beat the snot out of in the first round pretty routinely - although the Leafs haven’t failed well when they had a similar opportunity so there is that.

The only thing I will say to this is ..LA’s 2 centers are in a completely different solar system than Bostons …

But yeah Talbot is no Swayman …

What I’m tripping on is why can’t the Leafs just copy what the Oilers are doing with the PowerPlay .. there isn’t much disparity between both units Talent Wise.

Those are all good excuses.
I think the main point is the leafs only have 6 goals in 3 playoff games.
Also, only 2 goals for for each game against the panthers last playoffs.
Trouble scoring in the playoffs....not good.

Need 4 goals tonight. Lets (frank)ing go!

Also, i feel like LA has better shut down centers, dunno.

They scored 1 goalie in the first loss and 2 in the 2nd so maybe the tagline should be "our special teams need to be better AND we need to score more" no?

Oh I wasn’t making excuses and agree 100% the reason the Leafs are down in this series is special teams 100%.

It’s not goaltending or anything other than getting crushed on special teams.

5 vs 5 the Leafs are better.

I also think Boston is A LOT better a team than LA but maybe that view is a bit too influenced by Boston getting insanely good goaltending. If they had just average or slightly above average goaltending where might they be right now?

Special teams and scoring is the Achilles heel of this team come playoffs and has been for years.

Time to fix it tonight and as you said let’s (frank)ing go!!!!!

Go Leafs Go

Their goalies don’t whiff on random shots. Ours do.

Swayman is .955 and Sammy is .895, your most important special teams player is the goalie.

Granted.
But our pk is poop.
So is our pp.
If we scored more on our pp, swayman wouldn't have .955 sv%.

Both need to improve sure, but mainly our special teams

Would be fun if the Leafs could learn how to playoff hockey and scores goals in bunches.

It’s like the chicken or the egg. Does our pp look bad because of their goalie and the same with our pk and our goalie.

Dewar out. Willy on the PK?

This series will all come down to special teams. Once again at the right time of year our PP and PK are failing us. This has been the pattern every year…. Won’t go anywhere until we get that figured out…
