JT sucks because he’s not creating anything whatsoever. Everytime Marner gets him the puck, he does nothing with it.

Mitch Marner was hands down the worst forward on the Leafs tonight.

Multiple turnovers, many of which were due to him constantly avoiding being hit due to being afraid, took a stupid o zone penalty, had a hissy fit like a 5 year old
On the bench, whining to refs at every turn instead of just playing through adversity.

He scored a nice goal but that’s a drop
In the huge bucket of poop he brought tonight.

He should spend more time watching Willy and leaning how to take a hit to make a play, not act like a child and just play the game.

Christ Willy missed 3 games and he was way better than Marner tonight.

I think he was about to cry before that lol..

The point being I don’t know how long Lou is in the fold. I wouldn’t be shocked if he hangs it up this offseason. New GM coming in and pulling off that big of trade could be dangerous.

On one hand - I feel Mitchy will waive this summer. No way he wants the heat of the media and fan base in a contract season. He wants to play loose and easy and that won’t happen here.

On the other - playing with 34 is the only way he racks up points and gets him even more money than he already has. So he may stay.

If he doesn’t waive I’d take him off PK move him to PP2 and okay him 3rd line. Less ice. Frustrate him into panicking about his regular season pouts and the next contract.

They could make life tough for him and drive his value down, if he decides he doesn't want to waive. The only way he rebounds is with another team, because he no longer gets prime ice time with the Leafs. We do have some hungry guys on the way from junior. Minten and Cowan will push for a spot on the team.

Marner did a great job roofing that pass Matthews gave him right in front of the net at the beginning of the game. Pretty sad Knies had to drive that line.

I just watched it a few times.

Mitch provided a heap of offence I agree - problem is that is off of turnovers. I’m sure Boston thought he played well for sure.
