I don’t think he’s getting off Scott free. Obviously he needs to finish better - but he’s generating chances (creating rebounds and secondary chances for line), he’s drawing coverage creating more ice 5v5 and especially on PP (Boston is cheating over), he’s playing physical, he’s been very good in all zones away from puck.

Definitely would like to see him finish - but he impacts a facet of the game in a positive each game and most shifts. JT Marner just aren’t doing much of anything. At all. I think that’s the difference anyways

The upside is the end of the Marner/Keefe/Samsonov era. Anything less is total nonsense. These 3 must go and not wait around for training camp.
