Why would Mitch Marner do this?

About as stress free of a playoff series as we could get. And now I don't have to miss any games

Hopefully the Isles extend their series tonight. And if Tampa can win their game tonight, look out. Should be a fun finish

Apparently he's sick and the illness is lingering. Hopefully it's not serious/life threatening/career threatening. But for the comedy factor, I need it to be mono.

I think nylander called him out on the bench to suck it up and play. They’re a mess

It may have been Marner actually, saying grow up from throwing his gloves lol

To be fair he supposedly had severe migraines and you simply cannot play with them apparently. Thankfully I don’t get headaches/migraines

Toronto has won one playoff series since they signed Tavares, and it looks like it will stay that way

They’ve lost 6 straight home playoff games and won 6 of the last 22. I think these are correct, I could be off one or two. But either way they can’t handle the hometown pressure

Oh, that. Yeah, wasn't sure if that's what you were referring to.
Yeah, apparently he told Marner to "stop whining and play. It's not junior hockey anymore."

Need the Leafs to extend it to 6 to see them lose at home.

Sean Avery was showing a clip of the first Leafs goal they gave up the other day and pointing out how useless Ryan Reaves was and it was pretty funny

Ok yea I was mistaken at first then thinking he was calling out Mathews

They’ll win game 5 and get everyone all giddy again up there and then lay an egg game 6 lol

Yea Matthews and Nylander both called out Marner, then Marner threw his gloves.

With Matthews illness, it's been over a week now. He was fine game 2 when he scored the winner which was last Monday. With the doctors they have, they can't do anything to help him if it's just regular food poisoning? Who's poisoning him, the Leafs head chef? lol

He's a Leaf until he says he doesn't want to be. Full NMC for him.

Yea I know but that’s my point, I can’t see him wanting to stay a day more there. Especially being called out by the two big guys, and the newspaper

I’m saying Utah and sticking to it because they’ll give him a huge payday too upon hitting free agency, or extension
