Ovi should hang them up. And I mean that respectfully. He was great for the game and a great player, but he has nothing left in the tank. He went on a bit of a tear to end the season, but I think halfway through the season he only had 8 goals and looked like a shell of himself this series. I know he won’t bc of the goal record, but man, it’s tough to watch him look that bad out there.

Even on the powerplay he doesn’t try to move or battle or anything. Literally stands still at the left point waiting for the puck. They would have been smarter to take him off it to generate some offense

As he should be. Ovi gave no effort and let Washington down hard. Again, he can play in the regular season but he doesn’t have that extra gear for the playoffs anymore

I think ovie is just old now. He has a lot of miles on his body by now. For him to keep up in playoffs is probably impossible

Yeah, it's sad watching him play like this. His play has dropped off hard. He was incredible for so long and now he's going to hang on for another season or two to break the record. Sucks.
