It’s really crazy this week…The players might be taking a vacation, but for the GMs…..welcome to the 80 hour work week…

We could see some players returning to places thLet’s get to it….

On Brayden Schenn….
He was drafted by the LA Kings(e4) but only played one game in 2009-2010 and eight games in 2010- 2011 before being traded to the Flyers that summer along with Wayne Simmonds for Mike Richards…. And now I’m hearing the favorite for Schenn to be moved to is the LA Kings(e4). The Bruins have also been mentioned….as have the Caps (e2) Schenn brings a lot of experience and of course, a lot of leadership as he has the captain of the St. Louis Blues right now….. The ask could be a first round draft pick plus a roster player…

On Davis Savard…
I’m hearing a return to Tampa is possible(e3), or even a return to Columbus(e2). Savard is older, but he is still an ace penalty killer, and gives you a presence in front of your own net…..

On Rickard Rakell…
I’ve been known to go too fast and misspell players names, and this one is one of the weirdest spellings ever….Lets face it, too many Braydons and Brayden and Brandons…..
Anyway…Roght now he is kind of the belle of the ball in rumor land…. but I’m honestly hearing the Penguins are very much wanting, and leaning to, keeping him. He has three years left on his contract and he’s been one of the few bright spots upfront that you can still build off of…. I don’t see Dubas moving him at all. And most of my sources believe the same thing….. that the Pens are listening, but it would take a hell of a lot… and his $8.5 million cap hit is not easy to take in……

On Carson Saucy….
This is the player I keep hearing the Capitals(e4) are after…. Although anyone in their right mind would take a shot at this 6’5’’ stay at home physical defensemen who is cap hit is only 1.6 million…The Panthers could sneak in and grab him… or Carolina…. I know Calgary likes him a lot, but I don’t know that Vancouver would trade him to Calgary. I also think Vancouver should just consider keeping him, but it does seem like they’re gonna move him….
