Ansar Khan’s possible trade list came out yesterday, but with fair warning that Detroit may just stand pat. Ottawa very nearly pushed Detroit out of a wild card with NYR now sitting just outside (tied in points but more games played and ROW at play). Montreal and Boston are just a breath away as well.
Detroit is in the difficult spot of not wanting to surrender the prospects teams are looking at, but also having gaps that need addressing. You’ll see this in the video, but Sandin-Pellikka could well be part of the team within the month of March depending on how his season goes. Teams may ask about Lyon, which would likely force Husso into a backup role. That may not be all bad if Augustine decides he’s ready to go pro after this season.
