A couple of quick hits for an off day. The Oilers stayed the night in Denver and travelled back this morning. The team will not practice today, with the coaching staff opting for a day off and rest ahead of the Anaheim Ducks tomorrow.

Fernando Pisani had his fitness test yesterday and Head Coach Craig MacTavish described the results today as "average". That means he's doubtful for either of the home and home games with Anaheim and the road game in Los Angeles. Ergo, it sounds like the earliest possible return date for Pisani is sometime into next week...still far ahead of what anybody could have expected a couple of months ago.
