The Oilers travel today to Anaheim...without Ales Hemsky or Geoff Sanderson. Hemsky is hobbling around with a knee contusion and will sit out at least the next two games; ditto for Sanderson with some sort of back injury. That means Patrick Thoresen gets re-called from Springfield of the American Hockey League. He's the only call up they're making right now, which opens the door for Fernando Pisani to play tomorrow evening. He'll be a gameday decision based on how he comes through today's practice, but it looks rather likely that he'll play. Sheldon Souray is also traveling with the team, but only to keep skating. He won't play in either of the two games.
