Hey, hockeybuzzers...
First, I'd like to thank everyone for the comments and emails I received regarding my departure from hockeybuzz. I honestly had no idea this blog reached so many fans in Canucks Nation and beyond. Your kind words were very much appreciated and sometimes overwhelming - I hope I didn't miss anyone in my rapid fire email responses.
During my time in this unique community I feel like I've been able to connect with Vancouver fans on more than just a blogger/poster dynamic. I definitely made some friends along the way, too.
Second, I'd like to convey my gratitude to Eklund for allowing me to express my opinions about the Vancouver Canucks on this platform. Being able to interact with fellow fans and other team bloggers with lively and engaging hockey discussion was a great experience. I think it's why we all enjoy this site so much.
But now it's on to a new opportunity, one I'm very excited about.
The Hockey News publication has long been considered an institution in the hockey world, and I'm extremely honored to be joining
The Hockey News website as the official Canucks blogger when their newly designed site rolls out in the near future.
The revamped look at THN will eventually feature bloggers from every NHL city, as well as contributors from each European, Minor, College and Junior league, complete with audio and video content on the new thn.tv site. It's an exciting time at THN, and I'm really looking forward to being involved during the initial stages.
So, thanks for reading fellow Canuckleheads! Hopefully I'll run into you again during your internet travels.
