The New Jersey Devils finally did it. For the first time since 2018, New Jersey will be heading into the Stanley Cup playoffs. Currently, the Devils have 100 points and sitting at second place of the Metropolitan Division.
Jack Hughes has been on fire as of late. In the past two nights, Hughes fired away 3 goals and 2 assists after being held scoreless in three prior games before this weekend. Last night, Devils goaltender Mackenzie Blackwood made his return from injury and was good enough to get the win.
Devils play the New York Islanders on Monday at UBS Arena (7:30pm ET start) and New York Rangers at Prudential Center (7:00pm ET start).
