How about this, the Avalanche are getting popular again.
The Avalanche are scheduled for 12 nationally-televised games in the U.S. this season, highlighted by the Feb. 15 game against Los Angeles at Falcon Stadium on the Air Force Academy campus.
The NBC Sports Network will have exclusive "Wednesday Night Hockey" coverage this season and will broadcast the Avalanche on it five times, including home games against Philadelphia on Dec. 11, Buffalo on Feb. 26 and Anaheim on March 4.
Two Avalanche road games will be shown on "Wednesday Night Hockey," at Pittsburgh on Oct. 16 and at Chicago on Dec. 18.
The Avalanche's full regular-season broadcast schedule on Altitude TV will be announced at a later date.
