I am hearing that the Flames have talked to the Blues about D-man Carl Gunnarsson. I find this rather interesting, and definitely a sign of our times, when it is possible the Stanley Cup Champ would help out the team with the best regular season record in their own Conference... The Blues may be looking at doing something else.
On Lundqvist...
The Rangers are going to be A LOT better, and I would expect them to start with King Henrik per usual. That said, there are starting to be some significant people telling me that Lundqvist could be on the move sooner than later barring a VERY rapid turn around in NY...We have heard these kinds of rumors before, but usually I would check into them and be shot down...not this time, and I expected I would be... So we will keep an eye on this...
