Talked to two separate sources, including one connected directly to the player and/or team (e4), and the rumor is teams are talking to Dallas about Jamie Benn....who has been struggling in Dallas early this year, but obviously still has a large amount of value.
The three teams interested are some of the same teams who were (and have been) poking around regarding Patrik Laine... The Islanders and Canadiens are both looking to add some star power and scoring...But also the Hurricanes have interest...
The Stars are going to want a #1, a current player and a serious prospect I am told....but of course that is the normal sticker price this time of year. All negotiable...
