Update on the story from last night...

I was just informed the Maple Leafs brass are planning a "major decision session," and the topic is assumed to be the future of the coach in Toronto...

A source close to the team has said, "There is more to this than wins and losses. Its how they are winning and losing and the apathy that appears to be present in the room after the games...Babcock is not apathetic, but the players appear to be heading that way..."


A lot of rumors swirling over the last few minutes here regarding the Leafs and Mike Babcock. The team is beyond struggling and now is falling fast...and yet the talent is undeniable and management in Toronto is sitting on a coach with the Marlies in Sheldon Keefe who is obviously sticking around to take the throne...

The Leafs have stayed steadfast with their talking points though...They continue to tell their reporters that Babcock is safe for this season...tonight though...that doesn't appear to be the case....At least it is not 100% for sure...If a coach loses a team with this kind of potential and this much season left...something could give.
