There is no doubt that the Leafs need change and while the easiest answer is Coach Babcock, there are some saying Babcock is safe...While I am not one of them, and I do believe this isn't all on Babcock. The issue I believe is their goaltending, but I don't think they need a backup goalie...I think they have a backup...Andersen. What they don't have is a starter. It will take either Nylander or Kapanen to get them a potential starter and whether Dubas has the guts to make that move...
On Voynov....
Remember when the arbitrator said Voynov could return after serving a half year NHL suspension? Many of you have asked if he could be back this season...The answer, per the NHL is No.
Per a source at the NHL, "Because he is playing this year in the KHL, he is not serving the term of his suspension. Therefore he won't be eligible to return this season."
Voynov would have to be under NHL contract, then serve his half year suspension...
