That is faster than Brodeur, the previous record holder, by 6 games.
This calls to mind the question of where MAF stands in the history of NHL Goalies. When you consider the Vegas success story, you can't even start without realizing Fleury is the #1 reason an expansion team has been able to put together such a crazy first 3 seasons...
And it easy to forget the roles Fleury played in Pittsburgh's Cup runs.
