KHL has announced the best players for week 19 of the regular season.

best goalie was Nikita Bespalov (Spartak), who didn’t allow a single goal in three games last week, including one road match. The Red-and-Whites’ goalie posted shutouts against Severstal and Traktor, while against Dinamo Minsk, he didn’t allow goals starting the match from the bench. His shutout against Cherepovets and Chelyabinsk were Bespalov’s third and fourth of the season, respectively. The goalie’s shutout streak is now at 136 minutes and 19 seconds.

The best defenseman was Cody Franson (Avangard), who won three games with his team last week, including one road match, posting two assists. The Omsk D-man posted no negative ratings, ending the week plus-5 (best result of the week). He also had 12 shots on goal, and blocked three shots from the opposition.

The best forward was Nikita Mikhailis (Barys), who scored 4 (3+1) points in three games last week. Mikhailis had the game-winning goal against Jokerit and scored a double on SKA. The Kazakh club’s forward posted no negative ratings, ending the week plus-1.

The best rookie was forward Vasily Podkolzin (SKA), who won two of three games with his team last week, posting 3 (2+1) points. The St. Petersburg’s forward scored points in each match last week, scoring in two. His goal against CSKA was his first in the KHL. The 18-years-old forward ended all the games with a positive plus/minus rating (+3), logged an average time on ice of 11 minutes and 21 seconds, and had 8 shots on goal.
