Less than a month ago KHL and their junior league suspended their season due to Covid-19 outbreak. It wasn't long after that, when KHL announced that they are cancelling their season but that doesn't seem to be the case of MHL.

Previously MHL's playoffs were suspended until April 10th. In the evening of Friday the Russian league announced that they.... will suspend their season further up until at least April 30th.

Following is the statement from MHL:

The League complies and will continue to comply with the instructions of the federal and regional authorities aimed at preventing the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic. All further decisions will be promptly reported by the MHL.

I for one find it bizzare that pro men's hockey was cancelled, yet teenagers have to find ways to stay in shape given the circumstances to potentially resume playing at some point in May or whenever if a green light to play was given. As Hockeybuzz has learned - if and when the playoffs would be restarted - players would have to play the remaining games and series without much time to gather together and getting at least a mini training camp in to prepare.
