The Coyotes just won in overtime.

Amazing.

First time in the real playoffs since Melrose Place was

Good-bye pants! God bless you, Darcy Kuemper.
More to come, but phone writing hard.

The Coyotes took an improbable 2-1 series lead the other day in a game in which their probability to win was close to zero.

Enter Darcy Kuemper, easily the NHL's most underrated player.

Kuemper - the Jose Bautista of the NHL, apparently, who has come out of nowhere at age 28 to suddenly become one of the league's perennial MVP candidates - was spectacular.

But maybe spectacular doesn't do it.

Alanis Morrissette's 1994 classic Jagged Little Pill is spectacular; Darcy Kuemper's play is something approaching divine.

The NHL has six straight elimination games today, and sorry if you're at work, but I just hope I can still walk straight by the time the Leafs come on.

Nick Schmaltz will miss his fourth straight game, but really, it doesn't matter who the Coyotes play, just as long Kuemper is in net.

As for the aforementioned league discipline, Dreger tweeted that with the draft lottery on Monday, the NHL may decide punishment this weekend.

As long as that punishment has nothing to do with voodoo dolls and guys named Darcy, I don't think it matters.
