Los Angeles Kings prospects Quinton Byfield and Jordan Spence have been named to Canada’s final roster for the 2021 World Junior Championship.

Byfield was a member of last year’s team and was pretty much guaranteed to have a spot on this year’s roster as well.

He’ll be one of six returning players for Team Canada and should be counted on to take a larger role this time around.

This will be Spence’s first time representing Canada at the tournament and he’ll be one of eight defensemen on the team.

Unlike Byfield, Spence wasn’t a lock to make the team. However, after a hot start in the QMJHL this season, where he scored 16 points in 13 games, it’s nice to see him getting a chance to represent Canada at the tournament.
