It appears the NHL is leaning towards participating in the Olympics, although there is still stuff to work out with the players and the IOC. A source tells me logistically, the NHL needs to have a schedule for 2021-22, so they are currently going to go with the presumption that they will be taking a few weeks off to allow the players to participate...

But now..back to the rumors.

On Landeskog...

Until this past week, I always felt like Gabe Landeskog was destined to be a lifer in Colorado, but it is truly amazing how fast all of that can change. The negotiations haven't shown even the slightest of positive signs, and the Avalanche are really beginning to look for alternatives for their Captain and top-line player.

What was unthinkable is now very much reality...to the point I have heard two teams, St Louis and the NY Islanders are poised to make huge plays for Landeskog..
