Hello everyone! My apologies for the delay on the contest. It took me some time to go through and look at the lists that were provided. In addition this kind of blew up in my face. I expected some names to leak ahead of time but the fact that the entire list came out kind of took the fun out of this.

In order to try and keep some integrity, I decided to not use any lists that were provided on the 21st, the day of the draft when names started to get leaked and instead only took submissions from the 20th and those that were not edited after the fact.

With all that being said there were a number of people that were tied with 11 and 12 correct names but there was only one individual who selected 13 correctly and that was HockeyBuzz commenter DDC Raven. I will be getting in contact with you shortly with a $100 Gift Card for the NHL Store. I see that you're a Leafs fan but maybe try and spend it on a good team? Just saying.

A few quick signings to discuss as well.

Seattle has signed free agent right shot defenseman Connor Carrick to a one year deal worth $800,000. Carrick spent time last season with the Devils as well as their AHL team, the Binghamton Devils. Carrick skates well but he doesn't bring much in the way of production. Even with the lack of true right shots on the blueline right now in Seattle I don't see Carrick as more than a #7 D man.

Seattle has also signed selection from the Expansion Draft Alexander True, formerly of the San Jose Sharks to a one year deal worth $750,000. True only appeared in 7 games last season for San Jose, registering one assist but he did post 9 goals and 20 points in 27 games in the AHL.

Seattle currently finds itself with just over 16 million in cap space while needing to sign a few RFA's such as Twarynski, Dunn, Borgen, and Cholowski.
