Last night 7-2 +10.95 Units
YTD 101-70-2 +34.25 Units(season high)

After another terrific night, we have a 9 game card tonight with a few nice spots for us to hit! Many thanks to those who have messaged here privately at HB, it's appreciated and I'm glad to share info with all of you! You gotta ride hot streaks but know when to pull back when you hit a bad stretch. Analysis for all 9 games tonight, see below. I will be back in the afternoon to post goalie info!

**Drieger/Knight goalies**
6 PM EST - Only game not starting after 7 pm tonight. Duclair is now out along with Barkov. This is a weird spot for Florida even though they are 11-0 at home. They just played a highly emotional and physical game in Washington, so I see a letdown spot here. This game might be much closer than many think plus you know Dreiger will get the start in goal, and getting to play his former team he might play out of his mind. I thought Florida would be -275 but they are -200! Vey small lean to the under with both teams playing back-to-back nights. This game is a pass for me even though Florida is off until Tuesday when they get their rematch with Washington.

**Allen/DeSmith goalies**
Another game in which we have two teams going in different directions. Those games last night, in which we went against the team on a bad run vs. the team on a winning streak was money for us! The only thing these two teams have in common right now is that they both played last night on the road. The Habs have lost 9 of their last 11 games and take a look at the scores in which they lost....5-2, 4-2, 6-2, 5-2, 3-2, 3-2, 5-2, 3-2, 6-0, 6-3, 4-1. So 6 out of 9 they lost by more than 2 goals. Now let us look at the Pens who have won 5 in a row in which they have outscored their opponents 16-2, to go with 3 shutouts! The Pens hit the road for 5 games after tonight. Give me Pitt -1.5(+120) BIGGGGG!!!!!!!

**Koskinen/Lehner**
The Oilers at Vegas is a nice matchup and both teams have been off since Wednesday. The Oilers won in Vegas earlier this year but with Stone and Patches back in the line up it definitely helps the Knights. Vegas when healthy is a very tough team to beat at home and the Oilers are average on the road(2 of their 6 road wins came against AZ!). The Oilers are without Keith and Nurse on defense, this really hurts them as they don't have much depth on the blueline. Strong lean to Vegas as a small fav -120. Both teams have gone over the total 24 of 38 games combined this season.

**Dell/Nedeljkovic goalies**
The Wings sat rested last night while Buffalo played at home against Montreal. Detroit has been off since Wednesday and is a terrific home team(6-2-2) while Buffalo(2-5-1) is on the road. Add to the fact that Detroit doesn't play again until Tuesday night, everything keeps pointing to the Wings. Buffalo has gone 3-8 since Craig Anderson got injured as they rotate Dell and Tokarski. The Wings won in Buffalo earlier this year in OT and now they get them in a great spot tonight as a fav -175. Give me Detroit BIGGGGG!!!!!!

**Gustavsson/Peterson goalies**
Ottawa is playing their 4th game in 6 nights on the road plus the Kings sat rested yesterday while the Sens got shut out for the 3rd time in their last 6 games. LA is off until Tuesday night, so this is a massive game for them and they will sink everything they got into beating Ottawa. Ottawa will probably start Gustavsson in goal after Forsberg started yesterday but this line-up is very weak and is without their leading scorer too in Batherson. They are a mess both on and off the ice as it looks like Ottawa is going to waive Matt Murray and his crazy contract. LA beat the Sens in Ottawa a few weeks ago 2-0 and the Sens are a bigger mess having lost 10 of their last 11. The Kings have been off since Wednesday and have lost 5 in a row but take a look at 4 of those losses.....Carolina/Washington/Toronto/Winnipeg.......3 of those teams are tied for 1st overall in the NHL standings and when they played Winnipeg the Jets were tied for first in the Central Division. The Sens have won just once on the road this season so this sets up very well for the Kings -225 or -1.5(+115). Both teams have combined to go under the total 22 of 35 games this season. Strong lean to LA on the ML and the PL!

**Holtby/Wedgewood goalies**
Dallas looked great last night in their win over the Avs and are finally healthy too as this is a talented lineup but has underachieved so far this season. They have won 5 of their last 6 games and the last 3 games were wins against STL/EDM/COL outscoring them 11-3 but only allowed one goal in each game. I like the under here for sure as the Yotes struggle to score goals. The Stars play up to the level of their opposition but play down to the level of their opponent too! Couple that with the Yotes sitting rested last night while Dallas played a very emotional/physical game against Colorado I worry a bit that they come out of the gate slow tonight. Dallas is off until Tuesday night so I would hope HC Rick Bowness would use that as motivation to bank these 2 points. Small lean to Dallas -200 but that is a steep price for a road team, Stars -1.5(+120) looks better to me.

**Korpisalo/Husso goalies**
The Jackets are one of the biggest surprises this year under new HC Larson but they have done a lot of their damage at home going 8-3. On the road, they have four wins, but three of those wins were against AZ/Buffalo & NJ all of which are in the bottom half of their divisions. CLB had 3 road games, came home for two games, and is now back on the road for 3 games. STL is off until Tuesday night after this game and they need this game badly plus they have played much better hockey on home ice. Both teams are playing their 4th in 6 nights, small lean to STL.

**Rittich/Johansson goalies** Both back up in goal!!!
The Preds have been solid on the road this season but many teams struggle going to Denver and dealing with the altitude. Nashville has had a solid start to the season and just had 3 games at home in which they beat Anaheim and NJ, but lost badly to Vegas. They hit the road for one game then back home for three more games. This is a weird spot for Colorado after winning 6 in a row, they lost last night in Dallas, come home for this game then hit the road for a 5 game east coast road trip in 8 nights. I wonder if they are focused on this game tonight and get caught looking ahead to the road trip. Avs -210 is steep, Preds +175 is a nice price but I am going to pass on this game with far better games on the board to bet.

**Hellebuyck/Markstrom goalies**
This all Canadian match-up has yet again two teams going in different directions. Every time I think Calgary can't possibly win, they do as they cost me big on their recent road trip! The Flames are an incredible 9-2-2 on the road and at home are 3-1-3. I don't think any team outside of the NY Islanders has played more road games in the NHL to start the season. Calgary has been off since Tuesday night and were sitting rested while Winnipeg played in Minnesota last night, in fact they played 2 road games since Calgary last played. I truly hope the Flames don't come out flat with a Jets team that is playing their 3rd game in 4 nights on the road and has lost 5 in a row scoring just 5 total goals in that span. Strong lean to Calgary -165.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The following numbers from last night were requested by all the Draft Kings reader's here, so I hope all of you that read the column daily can use them to your advantage -
Total goals last night - 70 (Home - 42/Road - 28)
Total PP goals last night - 6
Total SH goals last night - 3
Favs were 10-3 last night. The last two days 20-7 for the favs!
**Another prop to try is empty-net goals, you would be surprised how many are scored each night as coaches tend to pull the goalie earlier than if down 1 or 2 goals.

Home teams are now 180-135. Over/Under the total is 147-157-7 on the year.
Teams in back-to-back consecutive road games are now 27-21-1 over/under the total.
Teams rested the night before when their opponent plays the prior night are 31-19.
East vs West games, East 64-61 over the Western Conference.
Teams playing 3 in 4 nights on the road, bet against in 3rd game - 16-6
Teams playing 4 in 6 nights on the road, bet against in 4th game - 15-3
Teams off 5 game roadie or more, bet against them. 8-5
Teams playing 5 in 8 nights on the road, bet against them in 5th game - 7-2
Teams playing in their 6th straight road game, bet against them. 1-4

Playing today - Back later with more confirmed plays, be sure to check back throughout the day!

Pitt -1.5(+120)(3 Units)
Detroit - ML(-175)(3 Units)
Flames - ML(-165)(2 Units)
LA - ML(-195)(2 Units)
