Good morning and happy Free Agency day!

With limited cap space, I don't expect the Bruins to make much noise throughout the day. Expect a typical Don Sweeney day of adding organizational depth.

I am a bit surprised that the Patrice Bergeron deal has not been made official just yet. It appears both he and Krejci are close to done deals, one-year contracts for each.

I'll update this as the day goes along and be back later with some more in-depth thoughts.

Bruins sign Dan Renouf

Two-year two-way deal. Veteran depth to the blueline.

Bruins sign AJ Greer

The former Boston University forward gets a two-year deal worth $775,000 per season. Organizational depth for the Bruins

Curtis Lazar signs with Vancouver

Three years at $1M per for the former Bruins fourth liner

Pump the breaks on Bergeron?

Bruins trade Erik Haula to New Jersey for Pavel Zacha

The Bruins first move of the day comes via trade, acquiring Zacha from the Devils. The 25-year old was the 6th overall pick in 2015 and is a pending RFA. Haula had one-year left on his contract with a cap hit of 2.375M

Zach has reached 30+ points in each of his previous three seasons and should be a nice fit on the third line. Primarily a center, Zacha can play the wing if needed.

Hard to see the Bruins trading Haula if they didn't have a second line center in place.

Hello Krejci...
