Wanted to do my Pacific Division picks today, but I've been on the phone all day chasing these two rumors...

#1. Josh Anderson to Buffalo.
I personally remember a time when teams would NEVER trade in division...but looking at all the times teams have begun to not only trade within division, but trade with blood enemy rivals, apparently this rule no longer applies.. and this could be another example of the new paradigm. The Sabres and Canadiens are talking Josh Anderson. This feels a little out of character for the Sabres but sources have told me that the aggressive Sens and the surging Red Wings are certainly forcing Buffalo to look at these sorts of options...I a m a big Josh Anderson fan...

#2. The Rumor that won't go away quietly...
Yes, I often get taunted around her for my (in)famous "more to come"endings of blogs, despite the fact that there is indeed ALWAYS "more to come." However I know and understand these critiques in that the implication is "more to come" about exactly what I wrote about that day. Well, this is the case were I have now updated the Nylander/Sandin for Chychrun rumors 4 times..and the latest is that the Leafs are closer to anyone right now on landing Jakob Chychrun...THe Yotes have lower the asking price from 4 to 3 components AND the Leafs are acting very "runnerish" right now in terms of their willingness to listen...a source in Arizona confirmed these discussions once again today...

um... more to come?
