I'm not getting into Canada at World Juniors. They stunk, they gone, that simple.
UPDATE: Just Announced Matthews is back in tonight.
Leafs are 10-5-0 this season without Auston Matthews. So speaking of international hockey. I can't see how Matthews plays in the 4 Nations Cup. He said he's not sure if he will be fully healthy again this season. That instills confidence for Leafs fans. And by the way, when did we quit being creative ? Four Nations Cup, wow, lazy name, make it mean something, bring back the Canada Cup and that beautiful trophy. Soviets tried to smuggle it onto an airplane in 1981, good for them, ummmm, they won the tournament, you should keep the prize.
Back to the Leafs, they are back on the ice Saturday against Boston. So, Matthews definitely does not play. Because a guy with the initials BM is targeting it and it's not Bowel Movement.
Boston has lost 3 straight on the road, 4 goals for. Obviously Marchand not agitating enough.
Leafs and Bastan have split 2 games this season, including a Bruins 4-0 win in Toronto.
Leafs have won two straight, both against NYI, 1GA in each game. Why did the Leafs and Islanders play each other 3 times in under 2 weeks? Lou ask for that ?
Toronto sits on top of the Atlantic. Its one year the Leafs goaltending is depth worthy. Stolarz/Woll/Murray/Hidelby theres no net issues.
This weekend the Leafs have Boston and Philadelphia at home.
Marchand will be dirty and Tortorella upset
