Stranger Things, SK Top-Five + Hockey Pool Assistance Needed

OK so here's the deal: my wife fell asleep at the end of the second last 'sode of Stranger Things and now I have to wait until tomorrow night to watch the finale.

I meant that as a huge injustice, but actually, when you write it out, it kind of seems like the first world problem of the guy who is annoying to other people who only have first world problems.

Still, I can't wait. To me, this is the greatest show I have ever seen. What I like about it is that it seems to have been made exactly for me. It's cool though that instead of being a rip off, it's like these guys just made the show they want to watch, which is exactly the show I want to watch.

Which is just a show by a couple of huge Stephen King Fans.

I've read Kings books since I was eight years old, and likely haven't gone more than a month or two without picking one up, ever. I even went through university where the other kids thought I was some kind of low life because I liked King and didn't even pretend to like Alice Munroe. (Seriously, if you want to get froze out by the snobbiest people in the world, tell your 4th year English class, with a straight face, why Stephen King is a more important writer than Jane Smiley or Michael Ondaatje).

Anyways, since Stephen King has always been a huge part of my life, the show Stranger Things seems like it was made specifically for me (even the soundtrack sounds like I designed it) and if you like 80's adventure movies and Stephen King books, you have to watch it.

That isn't why I came by today - it's raining and I'm going to go to the record store and comeback and play some Earthbound - so I'll make this quick: I need some help with my hockey pool.

But first, for no other reason but pure self-indulgence, my top-five Stephen King Books:

1. Tommy knockers
2. It
3. The Stand
4. The Dead Zone
5. The Talisman

Hockey Pool:

I need to keep five of the following players, and also, I can trade anyone for picks in the upcoming draft because I don't need to submit my protected list until a week before the draft.

Byfuglien, Ekblad, Crosby, Draisaitl, Ovechkin, Tarasenko, Kucherov, Ghostbear, Hall, Letang, MacKinnon, Taffoli, Elliot and Matt Murray.

If you're gonna help me, here's the scoring: Head to Head, G, A, Shots, +/-, PIM, PP Points, W, Saves, Shut-Outs, GAA.

There is also a 4 goalie minimum appearance and 10 teams, so all goalies need to be owned.

(If you're wondering why my team is so stacked, it's because we only had 8 teams last year).

What I need to know is who are the five players I should protect, which goalies would you pursue in a trade and who'd you be looking to sell high on, since it's a keeper league.

Other important information: I only have a 4th round pick in the top five rounds of the draft as of now, so how would you balance that with who you keep? Keep the five best guys or prioritize getting back into the draft?

Should I go another year with Sid and OV or sell high?

Who do you think the best goalies of the upcoming season will be?

What would your draft strategy be? Three goalies off the start?

Anyways, I'm just interested to see how people would play this, and I thank you in advance for your help.

Thanks for reading.
