The Edmonton Oilers and Darnell Nurse reached an agreement on a two-year bridge deal, worth $6.4 Million on Monday($3.2 Million AAV). The deal appears to have used the contract of Winnipeg Jets and blueliner Josh Morrissey as a template, who signed for $3.15 Million AAV over the weekend.

There are now only five restricted free agents unsigned, Sam Reinhart (BUF), William Nylander (TOR), Nick Ritchie (ANA), Miles Wood (NJ) and Shea Theodore (VGK), but some of the contract stalemates could last long into the preseason.
