Nurse would actually be a pretty good fit in Buffalo. As things stand they're overstocked at LD and could use a righty to replace Nelson as third pair and presumably second when Bogosian goes down.

What I don't understand is why EDM would be trading defenseman at all period.

Edmonton is offering Nurse to Buffalo in a one-for-one exchange for Dahlin. Word has it Edmonton is trying to sell this as helping speed up Buffalo's rebuild, by offering an established young D-man for an unproven commodity who has yet to accomplish anything in the professional ranks.

Chia is their GM, I think that explains just about any nonsense that comes out of Edmonton.

They would have to be packaging him for a better defencman if they were going to trade him .This is probably nothing anyways
