2019 is here but KHL still had to announce the 2018 final week of leagues top players.

- best defenseman was David Rundblad (SKA St. Petersburg), who won three away games with his team, scoring three goals (best result of the week among defensemen). The Swedish defenseman posted a double against Admiral and scored the game-winning goal against Kunlun Red Star. Rundblad posted no negative ratings, being plus-2 for the week. He also had five hits and blocked four shots from the opposition.

- best forward was Dmitry Kagarlitsky (HC Dynamo Moscow), who won two of three road games last week with his team, posting 6 (4+2) points. The White-and-Blues forward scored goals in all the games, posting a plus-4 rating. Kagarlitsky scored a double in the derby against Spartak Moscow last week.

- best rookie was forward Martins Dzierkals (Dinamo Riga), who won two of three games with his team last week, with 2 (1+1) points. The 21-years-old Latvian forward had an average time on ice of 10 minutes and 48 seconds.
