KHL has named the best players of week 20 of the regular season.
- Ilya Konovalov (Lokomotiv) was recognized as the best goalkeeper, who won all three games of the week, including two shutouts. Konovalov turned away 98.89% of shots faced and averaged 0.34 GAA (both indicators are the best for the week). Shutout in the duel against HC “Sochi” became tenth of the season for the young goalie - he leads the league in shutouts.
- Victor Svedberg (“Barys”) was recognized as the best defenceman, where his team won 2 out of 3 games during the week. In that time Svedberg recorded 4 assists. The Swedish defenceman also earned a +6 rating, also earning six blocked shots.
- Vladimir Butuzov (“Admiral”) was recognized as the best forward, scoring two victories in two games. He recorded 6 (5+1) points in those games. His goal in the game against Avangard was the game-winning goal. Butuzov did not complete any of the matches during the week with a negative rating and earned a +1 while recording 14 shots on goal.
- Forward Martins Dzierkals (''Dinamo Riga'') was recognized as the best rookie. In three games, his team recorded two wins while Leafs prospect recorded 2 (1+1) points in them. The 21-year-old forward of the Riga club averaged14 minutes 6 seconds of ice time, shooting 6 times and blocking 3 opposing shots.
