Where do I start?

The Coyotes just won their fifth game in a row.

Their sixth in seven, and their eight of their last ten.

That in its own right is incredible.

This is a team without it's second best defenseman, best offensive player and best goalie. A team that is also missing their best penalty killer and who just had their third or second best centre play his first game of the season the other night.

Somehow they win.

How do they do it?

A secret deal with Miss Cleo from beyond the grave?

A conspiracy involving the worlds most powerful corporation - Applebees?

Somehow channelling the spirit of Andre the Giant?

Your guess is (most likely) better than mine.

Take for example Brad Richardson and his four goals from last night.

That is not a typo. Brad Richardson scored four goals last night.

Coming into the game, he was at a career high of 12 goals, in his tenth season.

If you set the over/under prior to the season on goals Brad Richardson would score, four would have been a good number.

Needless to say, the Coyotes won.

They buried the Canucks in a classic four point game.

They are now one point out of a playoff spot.

Two points out of the first wild card.

Six points, with a game in hand, back of third in the division.

And they'll be getting Grabner and Demers back any minute/
