KHL names the best players for month of April |

With KHL's season done and over with league has named the best players for the month of April.
The best goalie was Juha Metsola (Salavat Yulaev) who, in four games, posted a saves percentage of 95,92%, with an average of 49 saves per game (best numbers of April); and a goals-against average of 1.51. Metsola’s longest shutout streak reached 161 minutes and 40 seconds, once again the best numbers of the month.
The best defenseman was Mat Robinson (CSKA), who won six of nine games with his team last month, producing 5 (3+2) points with a plus-6 rating (both were the best numbers of April among defensemen). The Red Army blueliner scored a double in the sixth game against SKA, and the game-winner in game five. Robinson had 13 shots on goal and blocked 10 shots from the opposition.
The best forward was Mikhail Grigorenko (CSKA), who won six of nine games with his team in April, scoring 7 (6+1) points (best numbers of April among forwards) and posting a plus-4 rating. Grigorenko scored the first hat-trick ever in a Gagarin Cup finals game during the first match against Avangard, including the game-winning goal. He also had 35 shots on goal.
