Russian Supreme League's (VHL - 2nd Russian tier) club Hc Izhstal have a very creative way to make their players feel like they've accomplished something. After the game in the locker room after each game the best player is awarded with a Kalashnikov.

The first player to get his hands on the gun was teams goalie Saveliy Konov who led his team to a 3:2 victory against Chelmet Chelyabinsk.

The weapon was brought into the locker room by teams head coach Ramil Saifulin.
