Carolina Hurricanes prospect Dominik Bokk will be starting his season in Germany, after being loaned to Krefeld of the DEL.

Bokk was acquired last year as a major piece in the trade that sent Justin Faulk to the St. Louis Blues. He was the 25th overall pick in the 2018 NHL Entry Draft and has spent the last three seasons in Sweden. While he scored 11 goals in 45 SHL games this year, Bokk’s point production did decline from the 2018-19 season.

Bokk is still likely a couple of years away from pushing for a spot in Carolina’s lineup but he could certainly still develop into a solid middle-six forward for the Hurricanes.

Here’s today’s poll question (results and discussion will be posted in a future article):

Where do you see Dominik Bokk fitting in the Hurricanes' lineup long-term?
